Our Stories

Jaden is six years old and a fun and outgoing first grade student who’s bound to always leave you with a smile. He has a sensorineural hearing loss and learned to listen and talk at Clarke Florida. He enjoys learning about the solar system and science experiments — as seen in the video below. Jaden graduated from Clarke this spring and will attend his neighborhood elementary school in the fall

Anna’s hearing loss came on suddenly, and her family did not have a history or experience with hearing loss. Anna’s family attributes her success to support from her Clarke teacher of the deaf. Addyson is the only student in her school district with cochlear implants, and she’s excelling at more than gymnastics. She’s a straight-A, second-grade student who is reading at a fourth-grade level. Her favorite subject is math.
