Meet Ava, a future leader recently honored with her school’s “Making a Difference” award.
Diagnosed with profound sensorineural hearing loss, Ava began Clarke services at six months old, utilizing a bone-anchored hearing aid (BAHA) to access sound. Graduating from Clarke’s Preschool Program in 2021, she continues to thrive with support from Clarke’s Mainstream Services. Ava’s passion for swimming, math and art reflects the adventurous spirit cultivated alongside her Clarke classmates.
Her mother emphasizes Clarke’s pivotal role, stating, “Clarke helped us gain skills as a family to support our daughter on her hearing journey.”
