Mandarin News and WJXT/Channel 4 Feature the Kilwins Ice Cream Run

The Kilwins Ice Cream Run, Saturday, March 30, is a fun-filled, family event featuring all-you-can-eat Kilwins Jacksonville Original Recipe Ice Cream at the finish line. Funds raised will support children who are deaf or hard of hearing, who are learning to listen and talk at Clarke.

Vance and Dana Stallings, owners of Kilwins Jacksonville, initiated the Kilwins Ice Cream Run to support their daughter Haley’s alma mater, Clarke Jacksonville. Northeast Florida publication,
Mandarin Newsline, shares more details about the history of the race in their March issue. Read the full story here.

A highlight of event sponsorship this year includes a media partnership with WJXT/Channel 4. Leading up to the race, WJXT/Channel 4 will broadcast public services announcements that share Clarke’s mission while driving excitement for the race.

We remain grateful for Clarke’s community of supporters who help us provide essential services for children who are deaf or hard of hearing who learn to listen and talk.
