FAQs

What protocols are in place to keep runners and spectators healthy and safe at the event?

The health and safety of participants and volunteers are our top priority. We ask that runners, walkers, volunteers, staff and spectators follow CDC guidelines and refrain from participation if at risk for illness, experiencing signs of illness or returning from restricted travel alert locations. Guidance may change at any time and participants will be notified accordingly. 

When and where can I pick up my race packet?

If you miss the advance packet pick-up opportunities, packets will be moved to the race site for race day pick-up starting at 6:30 a.m. until 7:20 a.m. Please be in line no later than 6:55 a.m.Please note, we will not be able to offer any shirt exchanges until AFTER the event and after we assess any leftover inventory.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding of the logistical planning that goes into ordering shirts based upon the information participants provide during the registration process.

Will all participants receive a shirt?

All participants registered by February 28 will receive a performance shirt.

May I walk 5K?

Absolutely! Walkers are welcome. The race course closes at 9:45 am 

May I ride my scooter?

No Scooters, bicycles, skateboards or skates are permitted on the race course. Strollers are permitted for children.

Are four-legged friends permitted to participate?

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted to join the fun.  

Do I need to register my child?

All persons (including children) who participate in the 5K, 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk or Kiddie Dash will need to be a registered participant. The only exception is an infant or toddler (3 years or younger) who remains in a stroller for the duration of the 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.

I’d like to bring a group of friends with me. Is this ok?

The more the merrier! Please create or join a fundraising team!

How far is a 5K?

A 5K is equivalent to just over 3 miles, 3.10686 miles.
