Clarke took center stage at the annual Hear Me on the Runway event on May 11, 2024! Hosted by Dillard’s at the St Johns Town Center, Clarke students, alum and family members strutted the runway, showcasing vibrant spring and summer looks.
But that’s not all! Clarke students—who are deaf or hard of hearing and learning to listen and talk—had the opportunity to unveil the exclusive launch of the DANNIJO x Gianni Bini collection.
Returning as the event’s emcee was Jana Angel, co-host of River City Live on News4Jax. She expressed her excitement about Hear Me on the Runway, “I am so happy to support Hear Me on the Runway for the second year as the event emcee. The children do such a great job on the runway, but also shine a light on their limitless abilities for success. It’s a pleasure to partner with Clarke and Dillard’s for this amazing fashion show.”
Thanks to the generous support of the Jacksonville community, the event raised over $9,000. All proceeds from the event support Clarke Florida programs and services, teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing how to listen and talk.
