Cocktails with Clarke is an evening to celebrate Clarke Boston with familiar faces and new friends. Designed to unite donors, families and local businesses together, the event raises awareness and financial support for children who are deaf or hard of hearing learning to listen and talk at Clarke.
The third annual Cocktails with Clarke was a resounding success, featuring a plethora of raffle prizes and a live auction with exclusive items, including a signed Taylor Swift Eras Tour guitar. All proceeds from the event went directly to Clarke Boston. Guests were treated to an array of hors d’oeuvres, craft beer and hard seltzers, adding to the festive atmosphere of the night.
The event buzzed with camaraderie and warmth as attendees mingled and enjoyed each other’s company. Melanie Austin, Director of Clarke Boston, summed up the evening perfectly, stating, “Families are at the heart of everything we do at Clarke. From the moment a child is enrolled in one of our programs, that family becomes part of our family.”
The Keough Family shared their Clarke experience with event guests, highlighting their son Kellan’s remarkable listening and spoken language journey. Kellan has been apart of the Clarke family since his early intervention days, progressing through Clarke’s Preschool Program, then transitioning to a mainstream school while receiving support via Clarke’s Mainstream Services.
