Most recently, Cindy led a consulting firm that offered strategic direction to clients—both nonprofit organizations and philanthropic foundations—with operating budgets of up to $5 million.

“I am thrilled to join Clarke and work with an unbelievably passionate team of experts, educators and professionals,” said Cindy. “I look forward to putting all facets of my experience in fundraising and education to work in support of Clarke’s mission.”

Cindy will lead Clarke’s development efforts organization-wide, working closely with Clarke’s program and campus directors across all five locations. Cindy will lead all Clarke’s events and have a role in fundraising with all donors—from individuals to corporate funders to foundations.

Clarke’s CEO Doug Scott said Cindy was uniquely qualified for the Clarke position. “She is a quick learner and a demonstrated team player. She’s a leader capable of building relationships at all levels,” he said. “Cindy understands the big picture and can also effectively manage a wide variety of responsibilities. We are very pleased to have such a solid and demonstrated leader in the CDO role at Clarke,” Scott added. “Cindy will enhance our leadership team.”

Cindy holds a bachelor’ s degree from the University of Florida, where she was a member of Florida Blue Key, an organization focused on leadership and public service. She is a former board member of Whole World Theater in Atlanta, Georgia, and A More Perfect Union, in New York City.

Cindy has held senior development positions with national organizations, including the Association of Reform Zionists of America, Got Your 6, Hadassah and the Anti-Defamation League.
