Clarke in the Boston Herald

Augustin, a recent Clarke graduate, shares his listening and spoken language journey with the Boston Herald as the newspaper explores why more children who are deaf or hard of hearing are transitioning to mainstream schools.

From 2007 to 2019, Clarke Boston’s support of students who are deaf or hard of hearing in mainstream schools increased more than 20 fold — from about nine students in 2007 to more than 200 in 2019, according to the school.
