The William Randolph Hearst Foundation Awards Clarke Monumental $100,000 Grant

Clarke is thrilled to announce the William Randolph Hearst Foundation has generously donated $100,000 to benefit all five Clarke sites in Florida, Massachusetts, New York and Pennsylvania.

The Hearst Foundation conducted a virtual site visit with Clarke Boston in April 2022. The visit included time with kindergarteners and Clarke alum parent Saania, mother of Parissa, who stressed the benefits of tVisits and family support services.

The generous grant will support Clarke’s program standardization and ensure continued high-quality Listening and Spoken Language (LSL) outcomes for more than 1,000 students annually.

“We are pleased to rekindle our partnership with the Hearst Foundation since our most recent collaboration two decades ago,” said Bruce Skyer, president and CEO of Clarke. “Clarke has grown and evolved over the past 20 years to anticipate the needs of families today. This investment in our work is an endorsement of our expertise and the continuum of services we offer for children of all ages and their families.”

Founded by William Randolph Hearst in 1946, the mission of the Hearst Foundation is to identify and fund outstanding nonprofits to ensure that people of all backgrounds in the United States can build healthy, productive and satisfying lives.

Clarke is proud to partner with the Hearst Foundation throughout the 2022-23 school year.
