More than 15 Clarke professionals attended the 2018 ASHA Convention in Boston November 15-17. The convention is the premier annual professional education event for speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and speech, language and hearing scientists. This year’s convention brought together a record-breaking 18,134 attendees! The event provided opportunities to hear the latest research and gain new skills and resources.
Meredith Berger, director of Clarke New York, also presented at the conference. Her session focused on current research and gaps in research on children with microtia/atresia and how the research might impact the families. Participants identified strategies for supporting families of children with microtia/atresia.
