Clarke Pennsylvania is expanding its early childhood programming with the launch of a new integrated preschool classroom designed for children ages three to five. Located on the Hawk Hill campus of Saint Joseph’s University, the program brings together children who are deaf or hard of hearing and typically hearing peers in a nurturing, language-rich learning environment.
The integrated preschool program combines Clarke’s expertise in listening and spoken language development with a play-based curriculum that supports the growth of communication, social, academic, and early literacy skills. Through daily interactions with peers and individualized support from experienced educators, children develop the confidence and skills needed for future success in school and beyond.
The full-day program offers families a unique preschool experience that emphasizes family collaboration, communication, and inclusion while preparing children for kindergarten.
Children who are deaf or hard of hearing benefit from Clarke’s specialized listening and spoken language approach, while typically hearing children gain valuable opportunities to learn and grow alongside peers with diverse experiences and abilities.
The program is offered in partnership with Saint Joseph’s University and provides convenient access for families throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. Enrollment is now open for the 2026-2027 school year.
