Clarke offered close to 100% virtual services during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic—including classrooms, speech sessions and family coaching—to more than 250 infants and toddlers, more than 250 preschoolers and close to 500 mainstream students along the East Coast.
At Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech, we teach children who are deaf or hard of hearing how to listen and talk.
During a crisis, our work continues.
Clarke offered close to 100% virtual services during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic—including classrooms, speech sessions and family coaching—to more than 250 infants and toddlers, more than 250 preschoolers and close to 500 mainstream students along the East Coast.
At the time of publication (December 2020), Clarke’s offerings include hybrid models, in-person services and remote learning options. We continue to coach new parents virtually through our tVISIT Program; conduct virtual speech-therapy sessions with our preschoolers; and equip our mainstream students with the essential self-advocacy skills required for success in high school, college and careers in a hearing world.
Thanks to your support, we can continue to provide every Clarke infant, child and school-age student with these tools and the support they’ll need to sustain their listening and spoken language success. Donate today at clarkeschools.org/donate.
