This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) covers the treatment by Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech (“Clarke,” “we” or “us”) of personal information or personally identifiable information (both “Personal Information”) that may be collected or submitted when the web-user (“you”) are using the Clarke’s website or services.  By using Clarke’s website or such services, you consent to the privacy procedures described in this Policy.  This Policy does not apply to websites, services or entities that Clarke does not own or control.

Information We Collect. 
We collect and store any information that you provide to us.  For example, while using Clarke’s website, you may submit Personal Information when donating, volunteering, ordering materials, registering for an event or signing up to receive communications.  Such Personal Information may include your name, email address and credit card or other billing information.

Clarke may use the Personal Information you provide for purposes such as: carrying out a registration or transaction made by you; customizing the content you see; improving the content and overall look and feel of our website and services; contacting you; conducting research; and/or providing anonymous reporting for internal and external partners.  Clarke may also retain the details of transactions or donations made with us or the third parties affiliated with our website.

We also receive and store certain types of information when you interact with us via the internet.  Types of information collected may include your IP address, and information regarding your computer, your connection to our website (such as your browser type, operating system, and platform) and your user history (including, but not limited to, your session information, page errors and the length of your visits to specific pages within our website).

Use of Cookies. 
Clarke rarely uses cookies to remember certain user information. Cookies are electronic identifiers that are transferred automatically to your computer through your browser that allow our computers to save certain information you provide us and store information about you so we can recognize you when you visit our website in the future. This may allow you to avoid logging in more than once, which saves time, and create a customized website that fits your needs. You acknowledge that there are security and privacy limitations inherent in the Internet which are beyond our control.  However, we work hard to protect your information at all times. Locally information is stored on secure servers utilizing some of the most advanced technology.  Information is protected using both server authentication and data encryption, ensuring that your data is safe, secure and available only to registered users in our organization.

Clarke works with third parties for some data collection and to process donations and payments.  This website contains links to other third party websites. Please be aware that Clarke does not have any responsibility for the privacy practices of these third party sites. If you choose to navigate to another website through our website, we encourage you to review the privacy policy of such website.  We encourage you to be aware when you leave our site and to take reasonable precautions when sharing your personally identifiable information.

Choices Available to You.

You may decline to provide information when it is requested.  If you do so, certain features on our website may be unavailable to you.
