Clarke Northampton, a school and resource for children who are deaf or hard of hearing and their families, is the founding location of the Clarke organization. It’s also the site of our audiology clinic, the Clarke Hearing Center.

Whether you want to maximize the early language development of your baby or find a supportive and personalized preschool class for your toddler, we can help. Discover small, customized classrooms for your school-age student. We also have an audiology clinic that will service your hearing aids.

Students are taught by masters-level teachers of the deaf and receive speech and language therapy in both customized and inclusive settings, participating in specials (e.g., art, music, library) alongside their peers with typical hearing at the Jackson Street School in Northampton, MA (grades K-5) and Hampshire Regional Middle School in Westhampton, MA (grades 6-8). How students are funded
Students at Clarke are typically placed here and funded in partnership with their hometown school districts. We will work with your child’s IEP team to determine placement and service decisions.
Clarke admits children who are deaf or hard of hearing and provides services to our families regardless of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age or disability.
