Webinar Series for Families: 10 Ways a Speech-Language Pathologist Can Support Your School-Age Child

10 Ways a Speech-Language Pathologist Can Support Your School-Age Child Dec 6, 2022

This webinar will provide 10 strategic ways a speech-language pathologist’s skillset can help guide and support your child with hearing loss along the school-age continuum using a listening and spoken language approach. Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) play an important role in understanding the impact of hearing loss on communication and its effects on a child’s access to and participation in their school curriculum or community-based learning. As part of a collaborative team, SLPs can offer their expertise in assessing, building and strengthening your child’s auditory, speech, language and social-communication skills through individualized intervention or consultation-based services.
