National Disability Employment Awareness Month

Event Details:

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month

The theme for National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) 2023 presented by the US Department of Labor is “Advancing Access and Equity: Then, Now and Next” to celebrate the passage of the Rehabilitation Act a half-century ago and its importance in prohibiting discrimination based on disability in employment by federal agencies, federal contractors and recipients of federal funds, and in the delivery of federally funded programs and activities.

Clarke is committed to providing an inclusive environment where children who are deaf or hard of hearing build the listening, learning and spoken language skills needed for a world of limitless possibilities.
