Megan joined Clarke’s Board of Trustees in 2018 and works at Harvard Business School in annual and reunion giving. Prior to her career in development, Megan held roles in marketing and sales at both start-ups and Fortune 100 companies. Her passion for supporting children with hearing loss comes from her godson who is a former student at Clarke Philadelphia and husband who works for Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston. Megan has chaired and held volunteer roles for the MEEI Hearing Loss Clinic Annual Carnival and the Sensation Gala and at her children's schools.

Michael Straubel, Chalfont, PA // O’Neil Digital Solutions

Michael joined the Board in 2017 and was previously the Managing Director of the SEI Wealth Platform within SEI’s Global Wealth Management Services division. Michael brings more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, including positions in asset management, technology development and business development in the United States and Europe. His professional experience includes working with a number of national nonprofit organizations on fiduciary best practices and investment stewardship for foundations and endowments. Outside of his professional roles, Michael has chaired Clarke's Leadership Council in Philadelphia.

Andrew is the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Business Development at HomeServe USA in Norwalk, CT. He’s held a variety of roles with the company for more than 11 years including Senior Vice President of Business Development and Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions. He previously worked at UBS Investment Bank and General Electric. Andrew is also an active volunteer with Clarke.

Julie is a freelance designer who specializes in industrial and user experience design. She was previously a Senior Industrial Designer at Comcast in Philadelphia where she was the lead designer of the award-winning XR15 and XR11 Voice Remotes. Julie has earned an Emmy Award, 6 iF Design Awards, and 5 Red Dot Awards for her projects. She holds 10 patents for design and technology products. She is the Chair of Clarke Philadelphia’s Leadership Council, and a former Co-Lead of the MyAbilities Network Employee Resource Group.

Michael Budner is a personal injury attorney whose practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury cases resulting from construction accidents, workplace accidents, electrical accidents and defective or malfunctioning products. In 2016-2021, Michael was selected by his peers as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, an honor reserved for only the top 2.5 percent of attorneys under 40 years old in Pennsylvania, which is published annually in Philadelphia Magazine. Michael is admitted to practice in state court in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as federal court in the Eastern and Western Districts of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. Michael serves on the Board of Directors for Philadelphia VIP, a nonprofit that provides pro bono legal services to individuals, small businesses and other nonprofit organizations with civil legal issues. Michael also volunteers his time as a teacher and judge in the LL.M. in Trial Advocacy program at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.

During Bob’s business career, he has been an Owner and Senior Executive in private and publicly held companies in the Corporate Insurance, Banking and Financial Services Industries. Most recently, Bob was a Partner and President of an Insurance Brokerage Roll-Up venture that sold to Hub International in 2019. Bob continues to help run the business and oversees one of Hub’s mergers and acquisitions verticals. Bob also serves on the Boards of the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and the Maguire Academy of Insurance and Risk Management at St. Joseph’s University.

Kevin is the SVP – Head of Check Fraud and Analytics at Bank of America where he has held numerous roles. He brings more than 15 years of experience in financial services. He has provided countless hours of service to his community as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Children’s Home Society of Florida, Chairman through THE PLAYERS Championship as a volunteer, a member of the National Eagle Scout Association and a volunteer for The Giving Closet Project.

Bob is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a BS in Accounting from New York University’s College of Business and Public Administration and an MBA in Finance from NYU’s Stern Graduate School of Business.  He is a Tax Partner with Ernst & Young LLP in Boston, MA where he is an active participant on the Firm’s local philanthropic giving committee.

Handley is the Chief Talent Officer at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP and brings more than 20 years of experience in human resources and legal counsel to the Board. She spearheaded the development of Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP’s innovative talent model—the first of its kind in a major law firm—which replaces the traditional associate system with merit-based advancement.

Theodore (Ted) Mason, MD, Springfield, MA // Baystate Medical Center

Ted is an otolaryngologist and cochlear implant surgeon at Ear, Nose & Throat Surgeons of Western New England in Springfield, MA. In 2002, Ted established the Cochlear Implant Program at Baystate Medical Center, one of the most prestigious cochlear implant programs in the Northeast.

Lara brings more than 10 years of experience in leadership, litigation and community stewardship. She is the Director of Circuit Court for the State Attorney’s Office, Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida (“SAO4”) and is the first woman to serve in the position. In addition to her supervisory responsibilities, she investigates and prosecutes homicide and officer-involved-shooting cases. She co-chairs her office’s Diversity and Inclusion Subcommittee and oversees the implementation of SAO4’s strategic plan. She is a graduate of the Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2020 and is a member of both the Jacksonville Women’s Lawyers Association and Jacksonville Bar Association.

While CEO of Clarke, Doug led efforts to further unify the organization and developed a five-year strategic plan. He retired in September 2020 and maintains a consulting role with Glenmoore Partners. Doug served as executive vice president and chief administrative officer of the John Templeton Foundation. Doug is a Finance Committee member of the Philanthropy Network of Greater Philadelphia

Bruce brings nearly 30 years of strategic business consulting, management and operations experience in youth-service and healthcare sectors to Clarke. Bruce comes to Clarke from Child First, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and grew a sustainable national model that supports more than 2,000 children. Prior to Child First, Bruce led the National Kidney Foundation as CEO where he spearheaded a new operating model that doubled the number of patients served while reducing expenses. His leadership transformed the foundation which serves millions of patients and health-care professionals. He is a former member of the All Stars Helping Kids New York Advisory Board and Congregation B’nai Israel (Bridgeport, CT) Board of Trustees.

Brett Trevett, Jacksonville, FL // Point Properties of Florida

Brett brings more than 10 years of experience in operations and sales. He is the owner of Point Properties of Florida and has an extensive background in real estate and construction. He is a former board member of The First Tee of Jacksonville and former golf coach at The Bolles School.
