Sponsor a Child
When you sponsor a child, you help to shape that child’s future! As he or she learns to listen and talk, you will be sent artwork, schoolwork and progress updates, and you will be invited to visit the school so that you can see first-hand the impact of your support. You will experience the joy of knowing that you are making a lifelong impact for a child who is deaf or hard of hearing.
Sponsor a child and lay the foundation for a lifetime of academic success!
Make a Difference
The majority of the children who receive Early Intervention services at Clarke and attend our Preschool Program transition to local public, private or charter schools for kindergarten where they learn and thrive alongside their peers with typical hearing.

The Need Defined
Though Clarke receives public funds to support the therapy and education we provide, the gap between the cost of these services and the public funds received is typically $5,000 per child per year. Many of the children served by Clarke are from low-income families who don’t have the ability to address this gap.
When you commit to a multi-year sponsorship you can support one child from the time he or she begins with Clarke, and has little or no language, to the time he or she is speaking in full sentences and is preparing to transition to kindergarten! You may also choose to sponsor multiple children in one year. And by donating to build our endowment, you will make an even greater impact on Clarke’s ability to serve children for years to come.
- Sponsorship of One Child for Three Years: $15,000 ($5,000 per year for three years)
- Sponsorship of One Child for One Year: $5,000
Help Clarke to reach our goal to sponsor every child in Early Intervention and Preschool this coming school year.
We are seeking a donor to provide a challenge match to help us attract sponsors for our students. You could be the one to lead this initiative and change the lives of many children who are deaf or hard of hearing.
By sponsoring a child, you join a community that is passionate about helping to change the lives of children with hearing loss.
