Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for our Listening Walk event at Southwick's Zoo. Without the support of each and every participant, donor and volunteer, the event would not have been as wonderful and successful as it was. We raised over $36,000 for Clarke and the number is still climbing! Thank you for choosing to change the lives of children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

The morning began with more than 300 participants embarking on a listening scavenger hunt through the many unique exhibits at New England's Largest Zoo... listening for all the ribbits and roars they could find, and keeping track of their progress in their Listening Walk Passports. There were also games, activities, a special awards ceremony and a lovely lunch where dozens of families--from Clarke and beyond--came together to get to know each other, chat about their interesting team names and have some fun on a gorgeous day at the Zoo!

We hold this event to raise funds for our state-of-the-art programming for children with hearing loss, and also to increase public awareness that children who are deaf or hard of hearing can listen and talk. And even though the Listening Walk has ended, we are still accepting donations for Clarke. Your donation enables our teachers and therapists to teach children who are deaf or hard of hearing to listen and talk. We appreciate your support!
