Clarke Specialist Presents at Hear Me Now Conference


February 14, 2012—Sherri Fickenscher, Educational Support Specialist and Early Intervention Educator at Clarke's Philadelphia campus, presented the closing session at a conference sponsored by Hear Me Now, a leading auditory/oral learning center in Maine. Fickenscher's session was titled "A Look to the Future: Listening and Spoken Language in Maine."

The conference was held over three separate sessions from January 11-February 8, 2012. The theme was "Facilitating Listening & Spoken Language Development in Children with Hearing Loss" and featured presentations by Cara Lento Kaiser, MS, CCC-SLP, LSLS Cert. AVT; Carrie Chojnowski, MS, CCC-SLP, LSLS Cert. AVT;  and Cathy Janelle, MS, CCC-SLP, LSLS Cert. AVT.
