Clarke Student Honored by Northampton Lions Club


January 19, 2012—On January 10, 2012, Clarke Northampton student Claire Suttenfield was honored at a dinner hosted by the Northampton Lions Club.

Claire's design was chosen as the winner of the 2011 Peace Poster Contest, an annual competition held by individual Lions Club chapters that encourages young people worldwide to express their visions of peace through artwork. In recognition of this award, Claire received a certificate from Congressman John Olver, a letter from Senator John Kerry, a certificate from the Lions Club International, and a $50 savings bond. Claire's poster will be on display at the Lions Club Division Convention.
