Case Study on Clarke Jacksonville Student Featured in The Hearing Review

September 10, 2010—The August 2010 issue of The Hearing Review features an article on the communication development of a student at the Jacksonville campus of Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech. The student received an auditory brainstem implant at the University of Verona in Italy and, after 2 years at Clarke, has made good progress in auditory comprehension and spoken language development.

Director Susan G. Allen  and speech-language pathologist Alisa Demico authored the paper with K. Todd Houston, an Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology and Graduate Program Director of the Auditory Learning and Spoken Language Program at Utah State University.
