Clarke Jacksonville Students Enjoy an Interactive Play Space

July 10, 2018—Clarke Jacksonville recently installed a classroom magnet wall ball system! The innovative system provides an interactive play space that strengthens gross and fine motor skills, while fostering an interest in STEM skills.

Children arranged pipes and other magnets to create a "ball run"—a series of slides, dips and drops for balls to follow—practicing their inclination to explore, build and question.

Funding for the wall ball system was provided by the Embraer Foundation’s Partnership Program Grants. Motivated by innovation, the Embraer Foundation strives for social and environmental development through community engagement and education. Embraer employees were onsite to build the wall, and participate in the fun with Clarke students.
