Register Now for the Mainstream Conference


August 11, 2017—Registration for Clarke Mainstream Services’ 38th Annual Conference on Mainstreaming Students with Hearing Loss is now open!

This conference, which takes place at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel in Marlborough, MA, will be held on October 19 & 20, 2017. Each day includes a blend of workshops covering the many facets of hearing loss and its implications for learning in typical classrooms along with topics focusing on language, listening and literacy. Three distinguished keynote speakers—Dr. Carol Flexer, Sean Forbes and Sara Novic—will also share their knowledge and expertise at the conference.

The 15th annual student track “Making Connections!” for teens with hearing loss in grades 7-12 will be offered on Friday, Oct. 20. Plus, an all-day “Short Course” designed for classroom teachers who have a student with hearing loss for the first time will take place on Thursday, Oct. 19.

Professionals will have the opportunity to earn professional development credits from the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), AG Bell Academy (LSLS), the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), the CT State Department of Education, the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, the PA Department of Education (ACT 48) and the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID).
