May 9, 2016—We’re delighted to announce that Fontbonne University has been awarded a $1.25 million grant to fund student tuition for their Master of Arts in Deaf Education, a collaborative program with Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech.
This interdisciplinary degree for graduate students offers coursework through Fontbonne University, and 400 hours of on-site practicum in the Northeastern US, including at Clarke locations in Boston, New York, Northampton and Philadelphia; the Capital Region Education Council’s Soundbridge Program in Connecticut; and the Bergen County Hearing Impaired Program in New Jersey.
The five-year grant, funded by the Department of Education’s Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, will be awarded to students beginning in June 2016.
