Clarke Mainstream Teachers Attend NYC Workshop

December 17, 2014—Four mainstream teachers of the deaf from Clarke Mainstream Services in Northampton, MA traveled to NYC last week to attend a day-long workshop offered by The Children's Hearing Institute's Educational Outreach Program. The workshop, "Facilitative Strategies and Techniques: Moving Beyond the Single Word," offered hands-on training to facilitating simple to complex language forms through video demonstrations and cooperative learning experiences. It was held at the Ear Institute/New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.
