February 3, 2014—Since the age of 3, Derrick Coleman has had limited hearing, likely due to a recessive genetic condition.
However, he never let it slow him down, and with a the use of a hearing aid and the ability to read lips he became a star running back for the UCLA Bruins. Today, he is in his second season as fullback for the Seattle Seahawks, basking in the glory of the team's first ever Super Bowl title!
