Clarke Boston Celebrates Annual Family Fun Day

June 19, 2013—Friends, families, teachers, and staff from Clarke Boston enjoyed a family-friendly day of activities at Clarke Boston’s annual Family Fun Day on June 8, 2013. The event was held at the Old Colony YMCA in Stoughton and featured an interactive performance by John Henry’s World of Magic and a special visit from Blades, the official mascot of the Boston Bruins. Families enjoyed crafts, face painting, and an exciting hula hoop stage. Guests were also treated to a community cookout featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, and a delicious ice cream sundae bar courtesy of Crescent Ridge Dairy.

Seven prize baskets were donated by families and friends of Clarke Boston. Basket themes included Movie Night, Coffee & Tea, Summer Fun, A Taste of Italy, I Love Baking, Spa Day, and Collector’s Items (including autographed sports memorabilia). Raffle proceeds and event sponsorships raised over $3,500 for Clarke’s programs serving children with hearing loss and their families. Thank you to everyone who made Family Fun Day a smashing success!
