Clarke Families, Alumni and Friends Attend Pennsylvania Walk4Hearing and Homecoming

October 19, 2012—September 23rd was a beautiful day for a walk in Ridley Creek State Park -- and a great day to support Clarke and hearing loss awareness! Clarke staff, current families, alumni families, and friends participated in a 5K Walk to raise awareness about hearing loss support Clarke's Pennsylvania campuses. Children of all ages enjoyed face painting, a bounce house, and a Homecoming Picnic.

The Hearing Loss Association of America's (HLAA) Walk4Hearing is the largest walk of its kind in the country. HLAA's Walk4Hearing is held in multiple cities across the country. Since 2006, over 26,000 walkers have stepped up and helped raise money for programs and services for people with hearing loss and their families. Money raised is shared between the national organization and local Walk sites.

"This year marked one of Clarke PA's most successful walks and best attended homecomings. We are truly grateful for the loyalty and support of all of our Clarke Family and Friends!" said Judy Sexton, Director of Clarke's Pennsylvania campuses.
