Training Professionals for the Future
Clarke is committed to helping all children who are deaf and hard of hearing reach their full potential. As a significant part of this commitment, Clarke offers a variety of workshops and training programs to prepare future teachers to work with children with hearing loss and provide opportunities for current teachers of the deaf and mainstream educators to learn and develop new skills that will benefit their students.
Masters' Degree Program
Clarke partners with Smith College to offer the Smith/Clarke Program in Graduate Teacher Education which awards a Masters' Degree in Education of the Deaf to its graduates.
Workshops and Trainings for Educators
Clarke also provides a variety of trainings and professional development opportunities throughout the year.
Annual Mainstream Conference
Clarke Mainstream Services hosts a two-day fall conference each year to provide information on hearing loss and how to maximize success for students, parents and professionals in mainstream settings.
