Families Need Families

Clarke's family event offers fun and learing for children and adults, featuring nationally known speakers! Learn side-by-side with other families of children with hearing loss who are learning to listen and speak.

Join us at Clarke on Saturday, November 10 in Northampton, MA! Make memories and learn side-by-side with other families of children ages 3 through 12 with hearing loss who are learning to listen and speak.

Parents and guardians have the opportunity to take part in presentations held by leading professionals in the field. Age-appropriate programming for your children is included so you can attend sessions worry free. Sign up to learn more!

8:30-9:00 am - Arrival and Registration

9:00 am - Children’s Program (ages 3-12) begins

9:15-10:45 am - Opening Session: Janice Gatty, EdD, Family Life: Dynamics that Support and Sustain

11:00 am-12:30 pm - Joni Alberg, PhD, Social Development, What Parents Need to Know

12:45-1:45 pm - Lunch (provided)

1:45 pm - Children’s Program resumes

2:00-3:30 am - Carrie Spangler, AuD, CCC-A, Take the Lead: Advocating for Listening Needs

3:30-4:30 pm - Ice Cream Social (adults and children)
