    The purpose of this workshop will be to demonstrate features of phonological awareness intervention for preschoolers with hearing loss that could facilitate mastery of phonological awareness skills comparable to children without hearing loss.     Each day includes a blend of workshop topics covering the many facets of hearing loss and its implications for learning in typical classrooms along with topics focusing on self-advocacy and social skills. Ongoing Events

You don't have to wait for a special event to roll around to visit Clarke and meet our children and professionals. Each of our campuses offers an ongoing series of Lunch and Learn events to help educate the community about what is possible for deaf and hard of hearing children and allow more individuals to see the success of Clarke students first hand. At each hour-long event, visitors learn a little about Clarke's history and evolution, tour the facilities, hear from Clarke professionals about their work and see the children in action, as well as enjoy breakfast or lunch.
